My friends and I were excited to finally try 3LP and went to dine-in at the Bridgeport location. We ordered salt & pepper chicken, orange chicken, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the hot pot beef. We loved the Italian beef inspired sandwich, overflowing with giardiniera and great dipped in the au jus. I enjoyed the nashville hot and chili oil smothered spicy chicken sandwich which had a nice heat and tasted a bit buttery as well. The sandwiches came with curly fries that had a nice texture. The salt & pepper chicken was crunchy with a great salty umami flavor. The orange chicken tasted classic and we appreciated that it didn't taste really syrupy but had a light sweetness from oranges. The chicken box came with vegetable noodles/lo mein which we didn't really care for, just standard noodles without much flavor so we would like to try the fried rice next time. The char siu pork was fine, personally we are not pork fans though so ymmv. I would get the chicken or other items instead! The interior is simple and straightforward, with some tables, but I would definitely recommend dining in so you don't lose any of the great texture from the food! The staff was sweet and cut our sandwiches for us when asked. Bring water because they didn't have any available.

Absolutely incredible food. From their time being in the back of Molly's, to their new brick and mortars, some of the best food that I've had. Incredible flavors--authentically Chinese, but with heavy American influence, which just creates this amalgamation of flavors that is unique and unforgettable. Would recommend for just a meal, or my experience with catering has been fantastic as well! Give them a try, you'll definitely be back!

For the last 2 years, every time my boyfriend visited Chicago (from LA), he asked to try 3LP. When it was a ghost kitchen we had a hard time trying to get an order in and almost gave up because it was always sold out or google would say temporarily closed, but my friend recently found out there was a physical sit down location and I knew we all had to go. Finally had that chance today! Art outside the building was so cute and we even had a chance to talk to the owner for a bit! He was really down to earth and super humble. The food was phenomenal. They expanded their menu from what we remembered seeing on the ghost kitchen menu. The food ACTUALLY looks like the photos, which is crazy because the fried chicken sandwich is as ginormous as it looks but it’s well worth the money. Everything felt very fairly priced in comparison to the portion. I personally ate the sweet and sour pineapple chicken which was flavored so well, but I have to say that the pie goons really took my breath away. It had just the right amount of sweetness to it. I left 3LP with a very happy stomach and a very happy bf!

Great neighborhood spot in Bridgeport, right next door to Maria's. I got the Original Hot Pot Beef and the Salt & Pepper Chicken Sandwich. Both are excellent. The Hot Pot Beef sandwich is juicy and the chicken sandwich has an excellent crunch. Highly recommend both meals. Looking forward to returning.

This place is 100% it. Got the combo with char siu and salt and pepper chicken with the noodles. It’s the classics elevated o the next level. Having grown up in the Bay Area and having traveled to Hong Kong over a dozen times, this place is really something special. The salt and pepper chicken was super juicy and crispy even after a 20 min bike ride home. The char siu was had the perfect sweet and tenderness. Highly recommended and I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

This Bridgeport chinese “fast casual” eatery is amazing. I understand that Chinatown is just a “stones throw away” but on my way to 3LP, I noticed many chinese run businesses, not just food places. Nonetheless, this small corner shop has massive flavors! Their spicy hot chicken sandwich is a banger!! Super crunchy and flavorful, hot oils and jalapeno slices compliment this messy sandwich. Comes with curly fries that are prepared to order. Fries perfectly hot and salty. Their teryaki fried chicken plate is amazing. Probably the best I have ever had. The crunch on this chicken is fantastic but the meat is soft and juicy. The garlic noodles is a good accompaniment to this meal. I will need to try their many other items if they are as good as these items.

The best char siu in the city. Smoky and sweet and melt in your mouth. The salt and pepper chicken sandwich is easily top 5 chicken sandwich in the city and the hot pot beef is the perfect blend of Szechuan and Chicago. The orange chicken, fried rice, and Rangoon are also legit. Basically everything here is amazing and if I lived by here I would eat this every day.

This American Chinese restaurant is the best! I tried many foods from the menu. Including spicy chicken sandwich, crab rangoon, bbq pork char siu, salt & pepper chicken and more. Every item hit the spot and was delicious. By far the best American Chinese fusion spot in Chicago ! Every bag is also personalize by hand when ordering. Wish they would be open for lunch! Would come back for more.
